Mark Matzeldelaflor
Mark grew up in New England and has held a love for nature ever since he could remember. He spent his youth in the coniferous forests of New Hampshire before leaving for military service with the Navy which took him around the world and back to California. After leaving active duty military service, he founded Guardian Grange, a non-profit 501(c)(3) regeneration network dedicated to creating healing spaces that protect natural resources, strengthen communities and uplift veterans through environmental stewardship work in nature. Mark’s intention is to facilitate the growth of holistically thriving environments and local-focused regenerative food systems. His strategy to accomplish this is to bringing veterans and community members together connecting to unite and ignite deeper purpose through work in nature. He hopes to inspire sensible stewardship for a new breed of leaders to serve as the benefactors of future generations. Mark writes to educate, entertain and inspire reflective thought in order to improve himself, and help bring a little more peace and appreciation for natural beauty to this world.
